You make a valid point....BUT when has humanity EVER risen up and truly struck out against the ills and evils of this world? The French Revolution, maybe....
"THEY" should all be lined up against walls and DISPOSED of merely for denying the world the technology developed by Nikola Tesla over 100 years ago, in my opinion....
Mankind, FAR from marching FORWARD in this world, has been definitely HELD BACK by a few, frightened, greedy, OBSOLETE old ruling families....
There should be an AIRCRAFT of some kind in every garage in every city....

I don't agree people would be 'dying from shock', although i get your point.
I think what would really happen would be that those who are in the know, and have been hiding this technology from the world for maybe hundreds of years, allowing them to die from lack of food and clean water, and heat and cooling that could all have been made available to humanity, would themselves be arrested and charged with genocide or witholding technologies and information that would have prevented millions and millions of deaths.
I don't think they are afraid that WE will be afraid...but more afraid of what we may do to THEM for keeping this to themselves.
