Unexplained Phenomena was a Radio Show hosted by Lee Spiegel. The show was broadcast weekly from 5 West 73rd st., New York, New York, 10023.
The building that housed the radio studio was The American Society For Psychical Research, still in business today, as they have been for over 100 years, so you can still check this out....
They are located DIRECTLY across the street from the DAKOTA Apartments, where John and Yoko Lennon resided.
On August 23, 1980, Psychic Alex Tanous, who enjoyed a wide following with the Rock and Roll crowd, was asked by Speigel if he could make a prediction that would mean something to the Rock fans listening.
He said: A VERY FAMOUS Rock Star would soon have an unusual, untimely death. Tanous felt that it could happen at any time after he made this prediction. He stated that the star would be so famous that his death would affect the consciousness of the WORLD.
Speigel asked him to draw up a confidential list, for his eyes only, of the possibilities.
Tanous refused to be specific, but gave him a list of six possibilities.
JOHN LENNON was the first name on the LIST!
The show was broadcast September 5, 1980. John Lennon was gunned down across the street from the studio, DIRECTLY across the street as he stood in the doorway to the Dakota, December 8, 1980.
