DEATH BY BASEBALL

DEATH BY BASEBALL

How SAD.

Firefighter Shaun Stone drove 150 miles, from Brownwood, Texas to attend the Oakland A's/Texas Rangers baseball game with his six-year-old SON, Cooper.

A foul ball was driven into LEFT FIELD.

Wanting a souvenir of the special day to give to his young son, Stone yelled down to Rangers left Fielder Josh Hamilton to toss him the foul ball.

Hamilton complied, to TRAGIC effect.....

Shannon Stone tumbled through a gap, 20 feet to the CONCRETE.

Bystander Ronnie Hargis attempted to arrest Stone's FALL.....

One BASEBALL GAME.

THREE MEN'S lives forever changed:

Stone GONE.
Hargis haunted by what might have been.
Hamilton? Who KNOWS what that man is going through....

ONE small boy left without his precious FATHER.

A FAMILY destroyed.

I don't watch BASEBALL any more, anyway...

Now I know I won't be going back to it...
