ME? Getting misty eyed over the loss of Jerry Garcia?
But, I miss the old days of the DEAD in San Francisco.
Those six-hour FREAK-OUTS at Winterland...
All the people that absolutely BELIEVED in them and DUG their music...
My neighbors downstairs followed the Grateful Dead all over the United States, in fact, that was all that they EVER talked about, so it caused me to somewhat keep my distance from it all....
But the DEAD stood for something, UNITY of the people, if only for a little while, if only for a soft summer afternoon noon, rockin' out in Golden Gate Park.
You only really need ONE DAY like that in your life.
The MEMORY of the FEELING last you a LIFETIME...
Hey, I even miss the tough lookin' BIKERS and Black Dudes, standing on corners, passing out flyers announcing the latest LOVE-IN or Peace rally!
I now know what they meant by "A TOUCH OF GREY"....
What? You thought this was going to be about ALIEN GREYS?
