Isn't it funny that 20 years ago, Chuck Norris stated that, in a real fight to the DEATH, Bruce Lee would have easily KILLED HIM.
Today, Chuck states that he doesn't know WHAT would have happened, that he and Bruce "didn't want to go there"....
See what all these Chuck Norris jokes have done to the man's MIND? Bruce Lee would have EASILY killed Chuck Norris back when Chuck was in his PRIME!
There are tales of Bruce Lee running and working out in the harbors of New York at the height of his fame, being jeered and yelled at by the burly workers, challenging him to FIGHT.
He would jump into their midst WITHOUT HESITATION, and challenge them ALL.
NOT ONE ever spoke up. Not one ever did anything but profess their LOVE and ADORATION for him.
Bruce Lee was one of the deadliest men that EVER lived.
And, I have known some pretty proficient fighters in my day.....
I have trained in VARIOUS Martial Disciplines, and I have NEVER met any MASTER that could equal him.
Not AIKIDO. Kenpo Karate. JUDO. BOXING. Greco-Roman Wrestling. Kaju-Kenpo.
We ALL knew and recognized BRUCE for what he was.
A BRAWLER. A Street Fighter.
A man that NEVER stopped sizing you up, setting you up and SHUTTING you up.
Listen to any of the men that actually came up with him, experienced what it was like to be on the receiving end of those FIST of FURY...
They all say the SAME thing: NO WAY TO BEAT BRUCE LEE. Even as a child, he was a street fighter, constantly sent home from school for BRAWLING.
His parents directed him to DANCE as a way to cope with all his boundless energy and that inquisitive MIND....
But, BRUCE could NEVER relax, especially after he became a star.
It was Bruce Lee's relentless pursuit of PERFECTION that killed him.
DID you know that he had his SWEAT GLANDS removed about a year before his death?
That he had ZERO body fat, nothing to absorb any toxins he may have ingested, no efficient way to sweat out any POISONS?
They say that he had a hunger for HASHISH in it's most powerful form.
That, and his intensive workout program, are more than likely the cause of his death.
He died on July 20th, 1973.
In the weeks leading up to his death, he had experienced several SEIZURES, which his doctors attributed to the ingestion of too much powerful NEPALESE HASHISH.
Bruce had NO BODY FAT, so no storage system to dilute the effects of the drug....
People that have been known to die from the effects of Nepalese hashish exhibited the same symptoms associated with Bruce's final hours:
Convulsions. Cerebral Edema. VOMITING. Kidney Failure....Cardiac Arrest.
When Bruce died, back in '73, we heard shadowy whispers about the "DIM MAK", the TOUCH OF DEATH, laid upon Bruce by an unknown MASTER'S hand, for divulging too many secrets of KUNG FU....
We BELIEVED that shit, too....
There was a CURSE laid upon the males of the LI/LEE family. When Bruce was born, his parents named him after a GIRL, to fool the spirits....
When you see how his son, BRANDON LEE's life turned out, that CURSE is not easily discounted...
Nowadays, those idiot CAGE FIGHTERS actually think they could have BEATEN Bruce Lee...
Not a CHANCE.
No one alive today could have beaten the man.
Steven Seagal in his prime?
That little BADASS TONY JAA?
Hey, it would be a HELL of a match, but my money and HEART would be with BRUCE......
And BRUCE WOULD WIN.
This isn't hero worship.
NO BRAG, JUST FACT.
BRUCE LEE was the BEST.
