I expect this to be as empty and BLOATED as Francis Ford Coppola's "DRACULA"....

I think Burton is competent. I actually LIKE Tim Burton...Saw his "SWEENY TODD" and enjoyed it very much...

I LOVE Francis Ford Coppola-"GODFATHER" one and two are UNBEATABLE...

But, having said THAT, "DARK SHADOWS" seems to me to be something that does not have to be disturbed or re-made...

BEN CROSS was GREAT as "Barnabas" in the television remake of a decade ago-He was GREAT, he had time to stretch out in the role...

But THIS, I just can't see...
and probably won't see, 'til the video hits...

I am still partial to Jonathan Frid and all the afternoon mystery of the original ABC Soap Opera....
