A bust of Jesus excavated at Hadda in what was originally an ancient Greco-Buddhist city. The ancient city of Gandhara, was a grand city of great magnitude before it was destroyed by invading forces.
In the 1970's local tribesmen were still talking about the holy man that came to them from Israel.
In addition to the figures, they also found Buddhist manuscripts dating to the 1st century CE. They are currently held by the British Library.
"The fragmentary birch bark scrolls, which were found inside one of a set of inscribed clay pots, are written in the Gandhari Prakrit language and in Kharosthi script. Dating from around the beginning of the Christian era,
