perspective view taken by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on board ESAâ€™s Mars Express spacecraft, showing crater Hale on Mars.
The image is centred at latitude 36Â° South and longitude 324Â° East. The image was taken with a ground resolution of about 40 metres per pixel during Mars Express orbit 533 in June 2004.
This part is showing a closer view of Crater Hale, contrast-changed and color changed in order to reveal some more structures, with evidence of present or past life!
