The disappearing thing seemed plausible and oh yah it moved to centre and then just stopped so that rules out meteorites.

Though I am not convinced except to say that as we are in endtimes, this sort of activity will be more pronounced and most likely communicative.

Also if the aliens offer something that is too good to be true then it probably is.
