THEY say money doesnÂ’t grow on trees, but it certainly does fall out of the sky, well at least it does in Russia anyway in the form of paper planes.
Millionaire and owner of social networking site VKontakte, Pavel Durov showed his rather generous side when he flew threw paper planes made out of 5000 ruple notes ($160) from his office window over the weekend.
The 27-year-old, who is reportedly worth $260 million, threw out $2,000 worth of money onto a crowd of people in central St. Petersburg, sparking fights among the people below, the Huffington Post reported.
It isn’t the first time the IT guru has grabbed headlines.
His recently published manifesto on his country’s economy proposed abolishing the national currency and allowing foreigners to acquire land.
