Belgium: 'Police pepper-spray protesters in anti-pedophile demo' [RT]

Protesters clashed with riot police in Belgium on Saturday outside a convent where the ex-wife of the notorious child-killer Marc Dutroux has been sent by the country's supreme court. Michelle Martin was part way through a 30-year prison sentence for involvement with Dutroux in a series of child rapes, kidnaps and murders during the 1990s when she was sent to the Clarisse convent in Malonne. Outside the convent on Saturday, protesters threw stones at riot police and tried to tear down police barricades. Police made several arrests.
