On Wednesday, foreign-backed insurgents assassinated Press TV's 33-year-old correspondent, Maya Naser, in the Syrian capital city of Damascus. Born on July 30, 1979 in Syria, Naser studied political science at KUPLAN University, NY, US. He was fluent in Arabic and English and had worked in many countries including the USA, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Bahrain.
