Anthony Shaffer came to the offices of the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression (ABFFE) and discussed the circumstances surrounding the publication of his book Operation Dark Heart. His book never reached the shelves of booksellers - the U.S. Department of Defense bought all 10,000 copies of his first edition and destroyed them over concerns about national security.
