According to a former Pentagon official, the investigation into the affair that buried David Petraeus' career was hidden from top US intelligence officials and the White House. The career of the four-star general of the US military David Petraeus has come to an abrupt end. Petraeus, the US General who outspokenly was against a military attack on Iran, resigned rather than do a 'Bill Clinton' after he was exposed on the eve of the US elections of having an extra-marital affair.
