The ceasefire has been called a victory for the Palestinian faction and a defeat for Israel because all the talk from the Israeli government about land invasion, about wiping out Hamas' military installations proved to be an illusion.

This truce shows Israel's isolation and its growing weakness in the Middle East. This was not just a military defeat but it was a defeat on the intelligence level, too, because it proved that the Israelis do not have the intelligence capacity to identify the location of the missiles and their storage areas.
