Savoy Brown Train To Nowhere, from the album Blue Matter. 1969

Savoy Brown's 3rd album, and the beginning of the best years for them

AMG review: The third release by Kim Simmonds and company, but the first to feature the most memorable lineup of the group: Simmonds, "Lonesome" Dave Peverett, Tony "Tone" Stevens, Roger Earl, and charismatic singer Chris Youlden. This one serves up a nice mixture of blues covers and originals, with the first side devoted to studio cuts and the second a live club date recording. Certainly the standout track, indeed a signature song by the band, is the tour de force "Train to Nowhere," with its patient, insistent buildup and pounding train-whistle climax. Additionally, David Anstey's detailed, imaginative sleeve art further boosts this a notch above most other British blues efforts.

On the US LP, the title track on Side 2 ends abruptly, as if to add dramatic finality. On most cuttings, the song ends just as the cut is brought to the runoff groove. On the US CD, the song is faded out.

[edit] Personnel
Savoy Brown Kim Simmonds - guitar, harmonica, vocals
Paul Raymond - guitar, keyboards, vocals
Andy Silvester - bass
Dave Walker - vocals
Dave Bidwell - drums

Your statement is riduiculous. The film was unnoticibly different from when i filmed it in January 2009 until the filming over a year later. This video has footage from various dates. If you need to debunk a truthful video youll have to do better than the crap youve come out with so far. And i say again - kindly stay away from my videos!!

So I notice the "2009" video and the "2010" video start off exactly the same, with the exact same chem trail in the exact same spot. Good try.. That lost my vote.
