Russia plays significant role in 'ITER' project

International project to create the world's largest and most advanced nuclear fusion reactor is well underway.

Construction of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, known as ITER, was launched 5 years ago and is about 10% complete.

The ITER project is a collaboration between 7 participants, Russia, China, the US, the EU, India, Japan and South Korea.
