Prosecutors defend charges against Reditt co-founder Aaron Swartz

After the suicide of Internet activist Aaron Swartz, the issue of prosecutorial overreach has become an intense issue. Swartz was allegedly involved in a hacking scandal that included the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and JSTOR. The 26 year-old faced a 30 plus year sentence for tapping into the secured system, but now many are calling for a revision of the penalty for future defendants.
