It's quite sad that America has to resort to loopholes to circumvent a flawed system, such as our drug laws. It's unbelievable also that no 'main stream' media outlet, I'm sure, will discuss this in a manner to shed light on the problem, but rather demonize more people to, in turn create more laws. It wouldn't surprise me if they spin it and go after real pot even more so because of the synthetic stuff, cuz that's how we roll (pun intended).

For those who don't know how this synthetic system works as far as politics go, a quick summary is that by labeling it "not for human consumption", it frees them from any lawsuits when people do "consume" it- which could be a broad term also. Another thing that happens in the industry that keeps it going is, the ingredients are constantly changing to stay ahead of the lawmakers that may criminalize or ban a certain chemical in a given product. That's why the packages seem to change like lottery tickets. An ingredient gets banned so the chemists go back to the lab, tweak the active ingredient or create 5 with 4+1 instead of 3+2 so to speak, rename it and get it back out in the market. After that is done, the policy changes needed to counter that take much longer than it takes to sell a few million dollars worth of the stuff in convenience stores across the country. I guess I would call it "Little Pharma". Hey that's kinda catchy....

Yet it clearly states on the packaging "Not for human consumption" and "Do not burn this product". Perhaps some Americans should learn to read.
