Description:

This deerskin leather belt pouch will accompany me along with the shoulder bag I made previously. I'll carry larger items like hunting gear and supplies in the shoulder bag, and this little pouch will be for smaller immediate use items like my knife, flint / chert, tinder, ferro rod, Mag-lite and such. I'll also use this smaller belt pouch for day hikes when I don't need to drag out a bunch of gear. Of all the pouches I've now made this one is my favorite, because it's nice and small and stays out of the way until I need it. I threw in a small flint and steel fire using birch bark as tinder just to test it out and show it off. This belt pouch is made from the same bark tanned leather as the possibles bag shown here: www.youtube.com Here's how I made the veg tan leather from a deerskin: www.youtube.com Thanks for watching, subscribing, and supporting this channel.
