Solar Flare - Eruption on Sunspot 1667-the Expanding Cloud May be Earth Directed

C8.7 Solar Flare
A solar flare nearing moderate levels (C8.7) was detected at 00:21 UTC early Wednesday morning. The source of the flare was Sunspot 1667. A Coronal Mass Ejection is associated with this event and a portion of the expanding cloud may be Earth directed.
