Take a look inside the world's most biosecure laboratory

It's home to some of the nastiest viruses known to science, including Hendra virus and SARS. Located within the high containment facility at CSIRO's Australian Animal Health Laboratory (AAHL), in Geelong Victoria, the AAHL Collaborative Biosecurity Research Facility is the world's most advanced biosecure laboratory. This new facility provides Australia with the necessary biosecure and biosafe infrastructure required to undertake research to effectively tackle increasing biosecurity threats, both here in Australia and around the world.
