It takes a mischievous mind Full of self hate and deprivation To realize what this world really has to offer You go through life always thinking you are of importance Sure there's your doubt in school that you are a "nobody" But what exactly is a "nobody"? How can one possibly compare ones life's importance to another? Who is this grand judge saying who and what is popular What it takes to be one of the "cool" kids I feel that this world is full of confusion Nobody really knows what it is they want They all have their goals set for their own reasons For some its recognition because their daddy's never acknowledged them For others it's money because they never got what they wanted as a child There's also the rich boy that just wants to be rich because in his eyes what else is there then money Then just the selfish folk who just want what's best for them What ever happened to just being happy in life Doing what you want because you want to with the people you want to do it with Maybe that's what people are already doing Perhaps I'm alone in think that the happiness is slowly retreating from this world Nobody is really happy now.
