Fossilized Spine found in a Mars Curiosity Photo from SOL 109. This photo which has been circling the Mars Curiosity forums shows what appears to be a fossilized spine sticking out of the ground. This is a great find because what else would you find in an ancient lake bed? We find fossils all the time in ancient dried up lakes so why not on Mars? Happy UFO hunting!     I would love for this to be true but if you look at the entire image you will see that there seems to be at trail created by one of the martian rovers leading up to this area, looks like one of the rovers did a turn around and that part of the martian soil was a little deeper and left those very interesting designs but there is actually no evidence that its some type of fossilized bone, just looks like dirt that has been disturbed by a rover wheel. Not trying to be a debunker, the shape of the dirt is quite convincing but the actual rover tracks is what really made me see this in a different light.
