Jesus Heals a Man with a Demon
1 They came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gerasenes. 2 And when Jesus had stepped out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit. It is a corruption by the Messianic Jews. This man was criticising the local Rabbi and his stooges for hypocrisy so vehemently that they gave him the bad name that he has gone mad or out of his mind as the foster parents of Jesus told the crowd and they locked him in the silence of the graveyard so that no one would listen to him anymore. 3 He lived among the tombs. To keep this man silent, silence of the tombs was the best place. And no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain, 4 for he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he wrenched the chains apart, and he broke the shackles in pieces. He was fully devoted to God and he could not tolerate the hypocrisy of the Rabbi and his stooges. No one had the strength to subdue him. 5 Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones. Such is the devotion of a True Devotee. 6 And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell down before him to honour Him. In India, we rub our noses on ground at the feet of a holy man to honour him. 7 And crying out with a loud voice, he said, "What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me." This is a corruption. How could a person of Holy spirit say such wrong things? He would welcome people like Christ Jesus and he did. 8 For he was saying to him, "Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!" The spirit in the man was holy as it could recognise the Holy Spirit in Jesus. Evil spirited person would identify an evil spirit and not Holy Spirit? 9 And Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" He replied, "My name is Legion, for we are many." Corruption? 10 And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the country. Corruption? 11 Now a great herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside, 12 and they begged him, saying, "Send us to the pigs; let us enter them." 13 So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out, and entered the pigs, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and were drowned in the sea. A corruption and here Jesus demonstrated to him that in this Dark Age, everyone is to give his own account to God and those who are led by these hypocrite Rabbis, they will be killed like these swine. This happened at the siege of the Temple when people chewed their shoes to survive. Jerusalem people hated Jesus the most and they killed Him. 14 The herdsmen fled and told it in the city and in the country. And people came to see what it was that had happened. 15 And they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man, the one who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid. Now, the Messianic Jews are speaking the Truth. This man of holy spirit understood the result of rejecting life-giving Gospel and they will meet a fate similar to those drowned swine. So, he was made to understand that there is no need to shout at stubborn sons of Satan. From here originates the saying, “You do not throw Pearls before swine”. 16 And those who had seen it described to them what had happened to the demon-possessed man and to the pigs. 17 And they began to beg Jesus to depart from their region. They were of Darkness and loved Darkness to Light. So, there was no point to Preach Gospel if they hated Light. 18 As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons begged him that he might be with him. This man also hated the evil spirited people but Jesus left him behind so that he can work among them to clear their doubts. 19 And he did not permit him but said to him, "Go home to your friends and tell them how much our Father and not the Lord of the Jews Yahweh, has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you." 20 And he went away and began to proclaim Gospel in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marvelled because he was a man of holy spirit. Evil spirited people cannot Preach Gospel that could earn so much praises. So, you see how much the Jews hated Light? Light came among the Jews and they loved Darkness.
Gospel is for the people of holy spirit and not for the people of letters or evil spirit. Put questions to your Brethren and challenge them in holy spirit, common sense.
