The widow of a sailing-obsessed French aristocrat who fatally slit his wrists after the fund he managed lost $1.4 billion to swindler Bernard Madoff will have her husband cremated and scatter his ashes in the ocean, family friends said yesterday.
Rene-Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet\'s wife, Claudine, is \"in shock,\" said Cosimo Ferraro, the couple\'s former caretaker in New Rochelle.
\"She\'s crying, \'We lost everything,\' \" Ferraro said.
Instead of holiday festivities, she is making funeral arrangements over Christmas.
