At least 29 killed in Sudan protests

At least 29 people died in protests that broke out after the government decided to cut fuel subsidies, state news agency SUNA said on Thursday, in the first official toll since the outbreak of violence on Monday. The protesters were killed during clashes with security forces that began on Monday, following the statement of President Bashir.
