    That -appears- to be a glint off of a spider web. We get those all the time. Young spiders will often \"balloon\", leaving incredibly long strands, often spanning buildings or going from tree to tree. As the wind blows, these form graceful arcs, which explains the boomerang and arcs the family was seeing. I\'m not sure I trust the report of the restaurant folks; they reported a plurality of UFOs while the family only saw one. If this was a concurrent sighting, they should match in quantity.
