Several dozen Libyan militias marched in the city of Benghazi on Friday evening to denounce the US raid which led to the capture of Nazih Abdul-Hamed al-Ruqai. He was seized by US special forces from a Tripoli street outside his home and whisked off to custody in a US warship last week. The protesters, backed by pickup trucks mounted with machine guns, chanted and waved flags and banners in support of the Libyan citizen, who was accused by the US of involvement in the 1998 bombings of two US embassies in Africa.
