According to Tejumola Olaniyan in his Indiana University Press biography, Arrest the Music! Fela and His Rebel Art and Politics, the 1975 release "Mattress" preaches "the subordination of women", something that was sadly typical for the inventor of Afrobeat.

Running to nearly 14 minutes, it begins with a typically lengthy instrumental introduction.
Fela had more use for a mattress than most people; he married his first wife in 1961, then in 1978 married 27 simultaneously!
