The Americans copied this \"Wonder Weapon\" and, 44 years later, produced the first real Horton Ho IX successor, the Northrop Grumman B-2 \"Spirit\" bomber, which is in use by the US Air Force today.
The Horton Ho IX arrived too late for use in the War (by 1945 there were only three complete prototypes).
But experts and pilots later said \"no aircraft had a chance to destroy this airplane.\"
The Horton Ho IX had better air attributes and greater speed than the legendary Me 262 (the first fighter jet in history).
