Congress attempts to expedite TPP approval

On Thursday this week, members of the United States Congress introduced a bill intended on fast-tracking approval of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, a trade agreement between 12 countries including the US. The Obama administration intended on having the TPP signed before the end of 2013, but was unsuccessful in their efforts. Now lawmakers are trying to speed up the process of getting the trade deal approved, but not everyone thinks that's a good idea.
