Congress attempts to expedite TPP approval

On Thursday this week, members of the United States Congress introduced a bill intended on fast-tracking approval of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, a trade agreement between 12 countries including the US. The Obama administration intended on having the TPP signed before the end of 2013, but was unsuccessful in their efforts. Now lawmakers are trying to speed up the process of getting the trade deal approved, but not everyone thinks that's a good idea. Public Citizens Global Trade Watch director Lori Wallach says some of the "negotiating objectives" listed on this week's fast-track bill aren't anything to be celebrating, and discusses the TPP further with RT's Perianne RT America in your area: watch us online: us on Facebook us on Twitter

We best all hope TPP is shot to Hell, and doesn't get fast tracked. It is a certifiable nightmare, SOPA on steroids
