Scientists from the University of Utah estimate the bird weighs around 225-kilograms, stands 3 meters tall and has large sharp claws .The shape of its jaw suggests that it probably ate a variety of vegetation, small animals, and eggs. The animal was identified from the partial remains of three skeletons collected in North and South Dakota.
