'Israeli settlers attack Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem, injuring 4' [Nel Burden @ PressTV]

Israeli settlers have once again attacked Palestinians in the occupied East Jerusalem al-Quds.

More than 50 settlers invaded Sheikh Jarrah district, throwing stones at Palestinian cars and homes. Local Palestinian residents tried to stop the attack but were assaulted by settlers, leading to four injuries. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian lands in Bethlehem, destroying over 300 newly planted grape vines. Settlers in the West Bank often assault Palestinians, vandalizing their properties, cars, mosques and olive trees. But regime forces rarely detain the assailants. According to the UN, there were nearly 400 incidents of settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in 2013.
