Activist Arrested During Al Gore Confrontation (fu

Sam Logulo of WeAreChange Ohio was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing due to a series of events that transpired in Chicago last Wednesday, April 1st. Sam and the fellow activists dared to speak out against Al Gore. Mr. Logulo was filming the Al Gore event at the Chicago Theatre and was told to either delete the video footage or be arrested. He decided to not delete the video, and was taken into custody.

Mr. Logulo was released from incarceration the following morning and has rejoined other members of WeAreChange Ohio. He was charged with criminal trespassing even though he had legitimate tickets for the event and was never given a warning or asked to leave. Police confiscated his camera and footage. He will have to travel back to Chicago to get his footage and attend court May 29th 2009

The members stated that they had a successful street action outside of the venue before the event with members of WeAreChange Chicago. The assembled activists distributed DVDs and fliers about the fraudulence of Al Gore's global warming hysteria.
