    It's a play on words.If the appliance is drawing electricity even when off it is using power which, supposedly, creates a carbon dioxide problem.Personally I do not believe in Global Warming, the problem is how do we keep our elected officials (lol) from doing what they please regardless of how much it hurts us ???

    Generating electricity, for the most part; using fossil fuels as we do nowadays creates carbon dioxide as a bi-product. Is this not common knowledge? I don't believe he's saying that the equipment is actually creating CO2 as that would just be silly wouldn't it. Insert large space above (as you seem to get away with it anyways)
