What are these? google earth find

    yeah i looked up the Karez and Qanat systems. pretty interesting stuff. i didnt see any pics with the 'keyhole' look...they were all just holes. is it just dirt these are dug in or is it solid rock?

    thank you for your commentshopefully we can figure this outi had asked an anthropologist about thesre, she had never seen them. she said that they would think of it as being religious or for water channels. but she didn't believe them both. there must be an explanation
