An untouched and unknown Amazonian tribe has been seen and photographed for the first time. The Brazilian government says the pictures were taken from the air above the border with Peru to prove that the tribe exists and to protect their land. Sky's Lisa Holland reports.

This vid makes me wonder how many of these "lost" tribes are out there and have not yet been discovered. I'm not surprised at all to see that these people have isolated themselves from the modern world, they probably felt like they were safer living as far away from civilization as they could. I can't blame them though, beacause the world we live in is hostile,unforgiving and demeaning. I hope they do leave these people alone and let them live the way they feel is best for themselves!

yer i see this from a year or two ago.so interesting to think there are people out there with no outside contact ever. i bet they was looking at the plane and thinking like we do when we look at ufo's haha
