Did you know some goverments like the Norwegian one is building a huge underground base ?
The underground Vault will be finished on 2011, right before 2012 ... Don't You wonder why ?

Also, get out of the country and travel a for a while. You'll see that Earth is the same as it has been 20 years ago.

Ok guys, then why are brand new bridges and skyrise buildings being built all over the world which have due dates past 2012? I agree something is going to happen, but not the end of the Earth. The government can't keep THAT good of a secret. Use common sense people!
