Around 7.30pm 13/09/09, almost dark, went out to my yard for a smoke, looked up, saw a glowing red light, low altitude, no sound, mowing slowly West. Rushed in for my cam, meanwhile it had moved on, just managed to capture these few seconds.
No light now, object at least half a mile away, the tree about 200yards.

Would agree, on the face of it thats exactly what it looks like.But how do you explain the red lit object silently moving overhead a minute earlier,travelling in the same direction.And the perspective in this, I guessed at least half a mile beyond the tree, maybe thesize of a plane, that one big black sack.Did think hot air balloon at first, do they fly in the dark? and close to John Lennon airport. We do have lots of low flying aircraft in the area but this was out of the ordinaryI just don't know what it was, the sky was black overhead, it was odd so just dashed for my cam.I accecpt there's probably an explanation other than paranormal, but not a sack.

I cant imagine how frustrating that would be, to see something, and not have your cam handy. Really, who walks around with one tied to their necks 24-7. Anyway, what do you think you saw? Was it light enough for you to tell if it was metalic, etc?
