Preaching, We need to listen to David Attenborough and his answer to god, it's a good listen. He said yesterday that he gets lots of people writing to him asking why he cannot admit that there is a god because he films all these wonderful things. His answer was "they always pick the nice stuff to compare with like Butterfly's Lambs in Spring and Lions with their cubs, but when you mention things like the a little girl of 3yrs sitting on the banks of the congo with a worm burying itself through her head making her blind by 5 or the Chimps who hunt and tear other live monkeys to bits, they don't want to know and when you have seen what I have seen I can't reconcile the fact that God if he exists is a terrible and cruel God" (not verbatim) I thought words like that mirror my own feelings coming from such a man says a lot. If there was a god as religious people describe then there is no excuse whatsoever if he had the power that he should not use it and stop the suffering. David Attenborough is dead right. Be religious, that's your right and I respect that but stop trying to preach, it's really embarrassing. All IMO. Peace.
