This guy's a complete hack. The picture featuring the 18 rings is not a snapshot but a series of pictures on top of each other to illustrate to newspaper readers the effect. Some of them were also recorded by astronomers using long shutter times. Check your damn sources.

Now, there is a lot of UFO phenomena in Northern-Norway, some of which was confirmed by Norwegian military radar as documented in the book "UFO Norge". And I've talked to a lot of witnesses seeing phenomena that cannot be explained away as human craft.

But this, however, looks like and falls into the category of missile launches of which there are many in the area.

You Tube minotaur rocket and you'll see alot of these "wormholes" also this guy was talking about the infrared being so visible because of "extreme heat" infrared measures heat relative to the surrounding environment not just heat, in the upper atmosphere over Norway in december it is very very cold any amount of heat would show up quite distinct against such a cold "background" and ice crystals in the upper atmospere could easily explain the concentric rings that were seen it's called haloing. I'd love for this to be some wonderful surreal event but science has to be applied first.
