Where do you get that information from. The History Channel is owned by A&E, and is brodcasted all over the world. Which government funds it?? I don't know where you're from, but in america atleast A&E/History Channel are notorious for broadcasting foreign programs. If it truely was funded by the government why would they be giving foreign programs airtime? A&E is owned by disney, nbc, where does the government come into play and what do you mean by "government"

Be careful with information from History Channel, it is government funded. Not many people seem to know this.
