I didn't see a lightning strike.Ball lightning is an offshoot of normal fork lightning. I have never heard of it simply appearing.I investigated ball lightning when my TV was struck in a storm just as I was about to switch it off and ball lightning shot past me landed on my fire shelf passed through a metal clock (Without damage) dropped off the shelf and 'rolled' into the next room to disappear. The one I saw was spherical, white, slightly larger than a golf ball, appeared to be lit from the inside like a 25 watt bulb but didn't light anything around it up. It moved without any sign of a rolling action. When it dropped to the floor it landed like wet clay. (But, Without bouncing or deforming) then continued it's journey at the same 'slow' pace and passed into the next room, where I lost sight of it for a second, by the time I got there, it had vanished.

Save yourself sometime people, its after 1-minute. The UFO is charged & nearly/zapped by lightening. UFO's are attracted to storms & lightening. Maybe imo they power-up from the discharge.
