It was presented on the news as the texas chupacabra, they did dna test which said it was a mix of coyote and mexican wolf, the reason why they are hairless is unknow, my guess is it is an incompatibility between this two species or a disease!So yes it is a coyote on the news.here you go -->> http://www.kvue.com/news/top/stories/020608kvuechupa-eh.970954f8.html

Nope it is not a coyote with mange lol if it was it would not have been on the news =P It is not a chupacabra either it must be a new mix a Mutt of some kind between a house dog and some kind of wild type of dog.
