    Hmm.... Could very well be so sir, thanks Sander for the explenation and the links ;)Because it is the most logical explenation for me untill so far, looks something manmade indeed... Ah well, I've seen plenty of strange other pictures on the same webpage:http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollopanoramasWill look for more "anomaly's" and ask for explenations, debunkings or revelations :) heheh

    Actually the "unidentified" object has already been identified by NASA. They say that it is the Surveyor III.http://history.nasa.gov/alsj/a12/a12enhc6969HR.jpgThe Surveyor 3 spacecraft was launched in April 1967 and was exposed on the lunar surface for 31 months before the Apollo 12 mission. The Apollo 12 Lunar Module landed approximately 160 meters from the Surveyor 3 spacecraft. The crew retrieved several pieces of the Surveyor, including the TV camera and associated electrical cables, the sample scoop, and two pieces of aluminum tubing.
