Jesse Marcel Jnr Interview

Dr Jesse Marcel Jnr, the last surviving witness to have handled the wreckage of the object that crashed at Roswell in 1947. The US Army initially said that they had recovered the wreckage of a â??flying discâ?. Within 24 hours they issued a retraction and stated that it had been a weather balloon.

Jesse Jnr is the son of the late Major Jesse Marcel, base intelligence officer at the military base at Roswell at the time of the crash. Major Marcel was the man who recovered the debris and took it back to the base. His son was 11 at the time, but Jesse Snr woke him up to show him some of the debris, which he described as metallic grey in colour, with I-beams adorned with strange symbols that looked like
hieroglyphs. His father told him he was the first person to see writing from another world.In 1986, on his death bed, retired Major Jesse Marcel told his son; "You must tell the world the truth about Roswell. When the military no longer has a hold over you and your family, please set the record straight!"
