For the 4th of July, what about putting a George Washington style wig on it and have it walk across a copy of the Constitution and then have it turn to the camera while a narrator says something like, "Freedom, use it or lose it"? Just a Photoshop idea.

I've held a couple of these myself, and they don't change color like this. It's much, much slower, and doesn't go beyond a specific color range (mostly green colors).
