"Relief wells" will not work because there are already nearly 4000 "relief wells" in the Gulf tapping the same reserve. "Relief wells" will only make matters worse, but this is what BP/WH wants anyway.

A nuclear fusion incindiary device would fuse that mantle closed, but it would have to be inserted into the ground, not above the leak. The U.S. Navy has them and they're in the Gulf now. Worst case scenario: A sudden drop in the ocean floor causing a tsunami of liquid filth hundreds of miles inland sudden pressure wave would cause an earthquake and possible sudden volcano of gas hydrates, but all of this would have happened anyway within 18 months. Better a quick and painless end of a dying Gulf rather than poison the rest of the world's oceans. Send the bill to BP and make sure all the BP execs/WH officials are at the scene of "activation."

no their not considering this, I already asked this through the horizon response website. Also using the next powerful bomb the MOAB (Mother Of All Bombs) placed at the well head or drilled below to seal the pipe with a concussive blast is also not being considered.I know the Russian Father of all Bombs is reportedly bigger than the MOAB, but it is an air fueled mixture and that would not work underwater.Even if the nuclear bomb was buried and no radiation leaked out, the relief wells will be drilled by then.

they cant be that stupid ,just think how much could go wrong, even if the bomb did stop it, it would be causing even more trouble

One question, would a nuclear blast ignite the crude oil and colapse the caverty that it occupies??? This would just make things a little worse in my opinion...
