you hit the nail right on the head!! Too much solid exposure of the idiots are being disclosed. people are starting to understand and believe what was once not believable. illuminati etc. they are scared cos the many (*sheeple*) are more powerful than the few (*silent leaders*)..this is the reality.

What "emergency" could possibly be so important that the net needs to be shut down???This in itself should send alarm bells off in peoples heads.I truly believe that the internet is where a lot of people get their news these days, this way it isn't censored iand can be trusted. No one, unless the government are doing criminal activities on a world level should need to shut it down.

wouldnt flipping the internet kill switch be an act of terrorism in itself? The economy would collapse if the net went down.

I didn't know we were at war again. The excuse is good as any but it's another chunk out of public speach.

good thing that the internet was set up in such a way that this would be impossible even if it was implemented...it is too big to govern...

So, what are you doing to create a better place? Everyone's always saying it's someone else's fault. The only way for things to have gone the way they have gone is for lots of people like you and I to do nothing when it counts most that we do. Okay and so it's not too late to actually take a stand right now, just in case you're ready to quit pointing fingers. On the other hand, this smacks of disinformation. Because someone wants you to believe someone else has control over your internet. When you agree with that, they've won.
